PWT or Prismatic World Tour is the recent tour Katy Perry has been doing for her Prism album. It is also the second concert I've attended alone. Just a quick look back, I had my first "big concert" alone when Justin Bieber was here in Singapore for F1 closing concert. Yes! JUSTIN BIEBER. Please don't ask why lol
When people around me found out that I'll be going to see Katy Perry alone, I got a lot of "What? Why?!" questions. It was as if it was the most pathetic thing I've ever done (oh, trust me this isn't one) but it turned out to be an awesome day for me even if I went alone and I'll give you 5 reasons why.
1. I Get to Prepare According to my Wants and Needs. Sometimes when you're with a company, you tend to change your plans to give way to someone. Like say, not wearing something creative just because it's "too much" for the other person.
2. Time's All Yours. You can do whatever you want! Nobody will smack you on the face for queueing up for 10 hours just to be near the stage.
3. Be Daring. And do it. When your pop idol is known for being creative in her concerts, chances are she will notice you if you're wearing something cool, fun and (good) cray. And not just your idol, during the PWT, I've been "noticed" for wearing my blue wig. I even had three concert goers who approached me to take selfies with. Yes, I enjoyed the temporary fame and attention lol
4. Fans are Friends. Because everyone at the stadium has something in common, it is easy to start a conversation with almost anyone there. I've never met and interacted with that much strangers in my life ever. I used to not like the idea of it and I would somehow think it was jologs. I take it back because I've never met nice, friendly and cool people until PWT.
5. Leave the World Behind. You know the feeling when you just feel you're in your own world when you put your headphones on and blast up the volume of the music player? That's how I felt during her two-hour concert. It was loud, it was heart thumping, and it was really fun! For a moment, I just felt that it was me, Katy and music in one place.
Overall, the anxiety of doing things alone were covered during the PWT. Katy Perry is one h*** of a performer! I don't know why people say she hits off-tune keys when she sings, or that she sounds awful live. Here's what I have to say, she actually sounds better live! If I could do it all over again, I'd do it 50 times more!
So those of you who are thinking of going to concerts alone, don't be scared. Just be confident, carry yourself well and the most important thing to remember is to have lots of fun! It's worth experiencing :)

Normally, right after an exciting and eventful day, I would rush to my laptop (or even on mobile) to blog about it. This "event" made an exemption. What am I talking about? THE PRISMATIC WORLD TOUR: SINGAPORE.
May 11, 2015- The day I finally saw Katy Perry in person! I have been listening to her ever since she was still Katy Hudson, making me a 10-year old fan. To be honest, I didn't think this would ever happen, until it did.
I waited in line for 9 hours and I know it was all worth it. And nope, I'm never the person who waits. I was so near the stage and enjoyed every single minute of her two and a half hours of performance up close.
She sang most of her songs from her album Prism and some from her previous albums. It was just a little disappointing that she didn't sing Birthday, Love Me, It Takes Two and This Moment. Those were all good songs and it was a waste not seeing her perform my favourite songs.
Katy Perry will never fail to impress her audience with creative flashes of lights, funky set designs and jaw-dropping, eye-popping, head-turning, body-shocking performances from both Katy Perry and her team (musicians & dancers).
Maybe I am still overwhelmed with the experience that I honestly couldn't remember the flow of events. All I know is that I am very happy I got to see her perform live. This will definitely not be the last time.
AAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!! Give me a month, or two, or three or a year to recover from the concert hype and from finally seeing her live!!!!!

Being away from home is most especially sad during special holidays like say, Mother's Day. It's quite difficult to fully express your appreciation to our dear mothers from a distance.
Saturday, a day before Mother's Day, I'm still clueless as to what I'll do for my mum. Luckily, a friend posted an ad on Facebook promoting her business. She was really kind enough to accommodate to my last minute request!
My mum was really surprised and she told me she was really touched by it. It was one of the most beautiful (and sweet smelling) flower arrangements she has received.
Again, thank you Kim for being an angel. Everybody knows the struggle of gift giving during peak of the holidays.
If you want to gift someone some flowers or need an arrangement for an event, they can definitely help you. You may reach them via their Facebook "Figs and Twigs" or through their mobile no: (+63915) 484 7929, or email: figsandtwigsph@gmail.com for inquiries. You may check out some of their past orders on their Instagram: figsandtwigsph
They accept wedding bouquets and entourage as well. By the way, orders should be placed 2-3 days for regular orders and for rush orders, an additional fee will incur.

Hey there! Time for Sunday Playlist and for this week, I'd be doing a Katy Perry playlist since her concert is just 8 days from today.
I've been a fan even before she was Katy Perry. I listened to her when she was just playing Christian songs and was known as Katy Hudson back then.
Her songs are very inspirational to me. Below are some of the lyrics from her songs that mean something to me.

I delayed my celebration for Labor Day. Yes, it's meant to be celebrated as this is a day given to rest and be work-free. But then, I had to do some work (from home) last Friday (my fault) therefore delaying my celebration a day late.

I feel like I'm always on a mission to find the best of everything (who isn't?). I love yogurts, like really love. Frozen, normal, plain, ice cream yogurt anything with yogurt in it, i'll have it. Recently, I stumbled upon a suggested page on Facebook. It was captioned "We found a Llao Llao look-alike". What's Llao Llao? It's another to die for (as per the blogger *wink*) frozen yogurt in town (pending blog post *ding*) I opened the link and searched where it was.
Man, it's kind of hard to locate the place. Even I couldn't give you a good guide as to how to go there without mixing up the street names. Fortunately, Google Maps had been very helpful and directed me right where I wanted to go. To make things easier, look for LASALLE College of Arts, Yogart is located just beside the school.
After making my belly happy and throat annoyed, I went to Bugis Street to what women call "de-stress".
I know I wouldn't be able to control myself that's why I kept all my cards and gave myself $100 cash to spend. Hah! Challenge was a success as I was able to buy 3 work pants, a pair of casual jeans, 3 tops, 3 hair accessories, 1 blue wig, 2 phone cases and a pair of bedroom slippers!
It was an exhausting and amazing day altogether. I love spending time alone. I get to reflect, people watch, discover, relax and just be myself.
To end my already happy Saturday, I met up with my very good friend (for 20 years now, wow Z!) to catch up and watch Age of Adaline. It's a good movie for all the romantics out there.
What a day! I'm looking forward to more of #DYD (date yourself day), hopefully less of the shopping spree lol

Some say that the best adventures are usually the unplanned ones. That's what happened one afternoon when my friends decided to have an afternoon biking at East Coast Park.
The weather was great. It wasn't too hot and it wasn't too gloomy.. It was just right.
We took the bus from Bedok interchange to reach ECP and from there we walked our way to the bike rental place. You can rent bikes for and hour from $8 to $20.
While biking, we stumbled upon an ice cream vendor. Yep, that's an ice cream in between two crispy wafers. And did I mention that this is just for a dollar?
Of course an hour of biking would sure to burn you out so we headed straight to a food court nearby and had Cereal Prawns, BBQ Chicken Wings, (they had) Stingrays, (I forgot what the other one is), and Pineapple Fried Rice (my ultimate favourite)!
